+ What is permanent makeup??

Permanent makeup involves depositing an industry regulated pigment into the junction of dermal and epidermal layers of the skin with the use of a specially adapted tattoo machine and fine nano needle. Treatment techniques, colour and overall finish will be adapted to suit each individual client request.

+ Why have a permanent brow treatment?

+ Does it hurt?

The question we get asked the most!

You may experience some mild discomfort but most clients say it doesnt hurt. You can apply an anesthetic creams prior to the treatment and I will continue to numb throughout to keep any discomfort to a minimum. You will be made to feel as comfortable as possible during the treatment. We can honestly say that 90% of clients will tend to fall asleep during the procedure!

+ How long does it last?

This differs from person to person and can vary depending on lifestyle and skin type, but it can last for around 12 - 18 months. It is recommended that you have a colour boost to keep them looking fresh. If you leave your brows without having the colour boost they will fade gradually over time.

+ What happens to my natural brow hair?

Your natural brow hair is never shaved off (like some people think!). If you have brow hair, I will work with what you have to create the best shape and symmetry possible for your facial features. I will also remove any excess brow hair that is not required around the main shape of your eyebrow before commencing treatment. If you would prefer to have this waxed, this must be done at least 14 days prior to your appointment.

+ What does the brow treatment involve?

The treatment will start with a thorough consultation. Your brows are then drawn on to compliment your face shape and enhance the facial features. A colour/pigment is then matched to best suit and compliment your skin tone, natural hair and eyebrow colour. Once you are happy with the shape and colour we have chosen, you get yourself comfy and relax whilst your new brows are created! A follow treatment is scheduled for roughly 10 weeks after to complete your new brows.
